Question: Suppressed emotion

Ask yourself today:  Is there an emotion that I am not allowing up to the surface?  If yes,  sit quietly, allow the emotion to surface, look at it and observe.  Ask your higher power to heal this emotion and move you closer to peace.  Amazingly, the power of that emotion will fade...  That which is brought up to the light begins to heal...

  1. I was carrying around an emotion for a few months that I didn't even know I had... I asked myself this question and sat quietly to allow it to surface. At first, I literally winced when I felt it. I allowed myself to feel it and observe it. As I sat with it for about 5 minutes, it slowly began to fade. In my experience, I actually ended up laughing to myself at my reaction to this emotion (wincing). I congratulated myself on the awareness, pat myself on the back and move forward with a new sense of peace. It was both empowering and liberating!
